Media/Sales Planner (Sr/Jr)

Responsible for collaborating with the Associate Director of Sales Planning, and other department team members as required to create and present client ready-materials and media plans for prospective and current customers before deadlines and manage strategy and workflow of media plan creation.


Manage development, execution and review of media plans:

  • Confirm pricing with Publisher and Ad Operations departments to ensure feasibility, strategy, and implement new product lines as they
  • Assess custom campaign elements with team (“Production” and Marketing) to determine feasible budgets and flights.
  • Add sold media plans to the internal delivery documents to Account

Support proposal development process:

  • Participate in brainstorming sessions
    • Advise on strategy that holistically lifts custom content programs


Incorporate supporting research into recommended media strategies and overall proposal development process including:

  • Research on client marketing priorities + approach
  • Industry trends
  • Competitive benchmarks (especially pricing)
  • Suggest prospective publishers and influencers suitable for new
  • Support ongoing company growth and development:
  • Contribute to tentpole sales initiatives (i.e. Reflect Beauty Awards, Black History Month, Pride Month, etc.)
  • Participate in select cross-departmental brainstorms, meetings, and/or working groups to develop new company initiatives, capabilities, or
  • Assist with training junior staff as needed.


  • You have 5+ years (3-4 for Jr. ) experience in Media Planning
  • A self-starter – you will manage and formulate your own success with the support of a team of experienced colleagues.
  • A digital native – you have worked in custom digital branded content for 3+ years, ideally within an agency, or social media company.
  • An excellent communicator – you are clear and effective in both internal and external conversations at the management level.
  • A team player – you are smart, friendly, hard-working, and willing to roll up your sleeves to achieve individual and collective team goals.
  • Sense of urgency – you are determined and laser-focused on completing your work within deadlines.
